When you’re beginning to consider something, it can be overwhelming to dive into a bunch of people who seem to have it figured out.
If this is you, and you’d like a way to look at how Greenhouse Mission approaches life with God, two books might be of interest:
First, my memoir of considering Jesus: He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not: A Memoir of Finding Faith, Hope, and Happily Ever After. I’d always been pretty spiritual, but was a very unlikely candidate for Christian faith. And yet here I am fourteen years later, and it’s been a really good choice.
Second, a practical take on how we do the stuff Jesus suggests: Miracle Work by Jordan Seng. Jordan is a friend and mentor of ours, and we admire the straightforward way he describes the supernatural.
I’d say the prevailing theme of Greenhouse Mission is that what is impossible with us is possible with God. These books share a bit of what it looks like to live into that.
